QR Code Generator

5 questions
How do I create a QR code for WiFi?

To create a WiFi QR code, navigate to our QR Code Generator and select the WiFi option from the available types. Enter your network name (SSID), password, and encryption type (WPA/WPA2, WEP, or None).

Once you've filled in the details, click Generate to create your QR code instantly. Anyone who scans the code will automatically connect to your WiFi network without needing to manually type the password, making it perfect for guests, offices, or cafes.

Are QR codes generated here permanent?

Yes, all QR codes generated using QR Master Pro are permanent. Since our QR codes encode data directly into the image rather than relying on a redirect service, they will work indefinitely as long as the encoded information remains valid.

There are no expiration dates, subscription requirements, or ongoing fees associated with the QR codes you create. You can download and use them for as long as you need without worrying about them becoming inactive.

Can I customize the color of my QR code?

Absolutely! QR Master Pro allows you to fully customize your QR code colors. You can change both the foreground (the pattern) and background colors using our color picker or by entering specific hex codes.

However, we recommend maintaining a high contrast ratio between the foreground and background to ensure reliable scanning across all devices. Dark foreground on a light background generally provides the best scanning results. Avoid using very similar colors for both elements as this can make the QR code unreadable.

How do I add a logo to my QR code?

Adding a logo is simple with QR Master Pro. After generating your QR code, click the 'Add Logo' option and upload your desired image file. Our tool will automatically place the logo in the center of the QR code while maintaining the QR code's scannability through built-in error correction.

We use a high error correction level (H) when logos are added, which allows up to 30% of the QR code to be covered while still remaining fully functional. This means you can add a recognizable brand logo without sacrificing the reliability of your QR code.

What types of QR codes can I create?

QR Master Pro supports a wide variety of QR code types including URL links, plain text, WiFi network credentials, email addresses, phone numbers, SMS messages, vCard contact information, and geographic locations.

Each type is optimized for its specific use case, ensuring that scanning devices recognize and handle the encoded data correctly. For example, a WiFi QR code will prompt the scanner to connect to a network, while a vCard QR code will add a new contact to the user's address book. We're continuously adding new types based on user feedback and industry standards.

Password Generator

4 questions
Is the password generator secure?

Yes, our password generator is highly secure. All passwords are generated entirely within your browser using the Web Crypto API's cryptographically secure random number generator (CSPRNG). This means the generation process uses true randomness that cannot be predicted or reproduced by attackers.

No generated passwords are ever transmitted over the internet or stored on our servers, ensuring complete privacy and security. The cryptographic randomness we use meets the standards required for security-sensitive applications, making our generated passwords suitable even for the most critical accounts.

How long should my password be?

We recommend a minimum of 12 characters for standard accounts, but 16 or more characters is ideal for high-security accounts. Longer passwords exponentially increase the time required for brute-force attacks to succeed.

A 16-character password with mixed character types can take billions of years to crack with current technology. For the most sensitive accounts like banking or email, consider using a passphrase of 20+ characters for maximum protection. The key insight is that length matters more than complexity when it comes to password strength.

What's the difference between Strong, Memorable, PIN, and Passphrase?

Strong passwords use a random mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols for maximum security — ideal for most online accounts. Memorable passwords use real words with character substitutions, making them easier to remember while still being reasonably secure.

PINs are short numeric-only codes, typically 4-6 digits, ideal for devices or secondary authentication where a full password isn't practical. Passphrases combine multiple random words into a long, easy-to-remember phrase (like "correct-horse-battery-staple") that provides excellent security through length rather than complexity alone.

Are generated passwords stored anywhere?

No, generated passwords are never stored anywhere. All generation happens locally in your browser, and once you navigate away from the page or generate a new password, the previous one is gone forever. We have no server-side logging or storage of any passwords whatsoever.

If you need to save a generated password, we strongly recommend using a reputable password manager like Bitwarden, 1Password, or similar tools to store it securely. Writing passwords on sticky notes or in plain text files is not recommended as it creates security vulnerabilities.

Age Calculator

2 questions
How accurate is the age calculator?

Our age calculator is accurate down to the exact day. It calculates your age in years, months, and days based on the date of birth you provide, accounting for the varying number of days in each month and correctly handling all calendar rules.

Whether your birthday has passed this year or not, you'll get a precise result showing exactly how old you are. The tool also provides additional details like your total age in days, weeks, and even hours for those who want more granular information about their age.

Does it account for leap years?

Yes, our age calculator fully accounts for leap years. It correctly identifies leap years using the standard Gregorian calendar rules — a year is a leap year if it's divisible by 4, but not by 100 unless it's also divisible by 400.

If you were born on February 29th, the calculator will properly handle your birthday in non-leap years, typically considering March 1st as your birthday in those years. This ensures your calculated age is always precise regardless of leap year complexities.
